Personal Philosophy
"I am passionate about providing quality education for children and their families. I believe that all children have the right to enjoy and make discoveries, using their imagination and developing their curiosity. I aim to foster these skills through a play based program that revolves around interacting with our natural and built environment. All children need to be valued for who they are. One of my own children is autistic and I am appreciative for the different view of life that he has provided me. I am open to lots of different ways of learning and making meaning of life. I have also learnt to liaise with other health and educational professionals, and I recognise that learning is lifelong. I also value the roles of families. Families provide a sense of belonging to a group and a culture. They are the emotional support, role models and the best teachers for our children. I value the skills and experiences of the staff at Creative Kids Preschool. I aim to create a welcoming, homelike environment, where children can play whilst providing a structure and routine that is perfect for school!"

Personal Philosophy
"I believe every child should be given the opportunity to grow, to be loved, to Be and to Belong. I believe that every child is a unique person: that each child grows at their own developmental level and that each child comes from a family that have their own beliefs and values. All children need the assurance of being loved and cared for while they are enjoying an educational environment. In a safe, loving, respectful environment, children have the greatest opportunity to grow and develop. I believe it is my duty to go above and beyond safety, love and respect. I, as an educator, should strive to create an environment that is fulfilling, enriching and supporting of all possible learning and growing opportunities and to ensure all children grow, learn, play and develop to their greatest ability and with a sense of belonging. I believe School readiness is an important part of the Preschool years and endeavour to ensure all children participate in our preschool program to achieve their greatest potential."

Personal Philosophy
"I believe as an Educator that the first five years are the most important years for children’s development and that during this time children should be given opportunities to learn and grow in all areas of their development.
I am passionate about educating children in their strengths and interests and to extend their learning using play to create and explore, discover and imagine.
I respect that each child is unique and has different interests, backgrounds and cultures and will do my best to adapt our program to meet the needs of all children in the centre.
I will be a role model and guide to each child that walks into our centre. I will create a safe environment, give each child choices, motivate and challenge each child to achieve learning outcomes and individual goals. I believe this is what each child needs to reach their maximum potential. I believe a child's work is play!"
