Creative Kids Preschool is opened from 8AM - 5.30PM, Monday - Friday, priced at $75 per day, with full Government subsidies available through the Childcare Benefit Scheme and the Childcare Rebate Scheme. We are open 48 weeks per year, we close for four weeks over Christmas, and all Public Holidays.
Our indoor area consists of two rooms – one designated to craft, the other to social play. We plan a variety of activities for each room, which change weekly. They link to the children’s interests as well as the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Our outdoor environment continues to foster your child’s creativity, imagination and social/emotional play. We include a variety of natural and man-made objects into our play, whilst encouraging curiosity, problem solving and confidence.
We also have a strong focus on school readiness. Each day we include structured group times, structured craft and news. We also work towards getting along with others, emotional regulation, being organised and building confidence (Kids Matter).
Sustainability plays a huge focus at our centre. We have a vegetable garden that the children help plant and take care of every day. We have included sustainability practices in our morning and afternoon tea and lunch time routines, where the children sort their rubbish into 3 groups: recyclable which we use for craft, food scraps which we feed to our preschool chicken, and of course rubbish.
We have four full time, fully qualified staff at the centre, who are caring, fun and knowledgeable. We all have great connections with our community. We aim to provide warmth and education for you and your family. It is great that the staff that you see in the morning will be the same smiling faces that you see in the afternoon.
Creative Kids Preschool provides high quality education and care for preschool children aged between 3 and 6 years old. We have received an overall rating of meeting and exceeding in all areas of the National Quality Standards at our last accreditation.
At Creative Kids Preschool, we believe in having quality connections with families, that is why we have an 'open door policy' which means that you can drop in at any time, share your interests with the children and welcome feedback and family input into our centre
